Words cannot describe how much I love the illustrations of Sam Alden, the creator of Gingerland and it’s dark and twisted brother Dubblebaby.

I can’t remember how I stumbled across Alden’s amazing illustrations but I’ve been hooked ever since. Gingerland showcases Sam’s vivid imagination, beautiful line work and deft watercolour skills with dreamy, surreal one-off illustrations, short comics and graphic novels. Dubblebaby takes a darker, blunter form with more nightmarish, bizarre short comics that are twiste and funny.
