Theres a progression going on here. You can hear Dilian moving from a strong post-rock upbringing into the unescapable surges of electronica as they break over him like foaming waves as he lay passed out on the beach. Many of his other songs have already jumped up and started swimming out to sea, getting more euphoric the closer they get to the other side… but there’s definately still a slight resistance acting as the undertoe to his casiotone synth-stylings. Intriguing stuff and definately worth a listen. I’m looking forward to where this NYC head of hair and beats eventually ends up.
