Heinali and Matt Finney – Creep

Some serious collaboration happening here between these two very talented kids. A mix of ambient, drone, post-rock, and shoegaze, Heinali and Matt Finney make intentioanally emotive landscape music inlaid with spoken word imagery that can only be described as ethereal…. oh yeah, and they’ve never met. Heinali is a composer from the Ukraine and Matt Finney is an Alabaman word artist. Though they’ve got the world between them, somehow they managed to release 2 critically acclaimed eps, one of which made it onto The Dumbing of America’s top 5 EPs of 2010 list. Their latest; Conjoined (of which you are listening to) is dedicated to Kris Angylus of The Angelic Process.
