With so many designers out there, it’s easy to get a bit blasé whilst scrolling through the internet. But when something is as outstanding as Yosef Peretz‘s new “Tokyo” collection, it kind of restores your faith in all that is fashion.
The prints that Yosef uses are beautifully designed, whilst still retaining a sense of humour; bold colours powerful shapes and iconic motifs all combined to great effect. The collection is a collaboration with costume designer Miki Avni, and that theatrical influence is clear in the garments.
On top of all that, I love the fact that the shoot is as beautiful to look at as the clothes themselves. The bold clothes set against the washed-out, panoramic cityscapes makes for a treat for the eyes.
