Death Grips – “Come Up And Get Me”

Death Grips certainly aren’t a band that could be accused of being predictable. Turns out that while they were recording No Love Deep Web, the unauthorised free album that resulted in Epic kicking them off the label, the band spent the whole advance they received from Epic Records on an extended stay at the Chateau Marmont (we don’t have to explain what that is, do we?).

Not only that, but they recorded the whole thing and turned it into a music video for “Come Up And Get Me”. Well, kind of. It might be pushing it to call it a music video in the traditional sense of the word; it’s about 9 minutes before there’s any music.

Still, it’s kind of oddly fascinating.
