So, if you want to make a name as an artist, how do you do it? Put on gallery shows? Spend all your time making your Tumblr super-ace? Make sure you’re hanging out with the right people? Those all could work. So could posting on Reddit apparently.

That’s largely how Valeriya Volkova seems to have made a name for herself, painting bespoke paintings for customers and reaping the rewards on Reddit, “the front page of the internet”. It’s certainly a success that’s well deserved, I could look at these paintings all day.

On a slightly related note, is it just me who doesn’t get Reddit? It’s funny looking. Isn’t it?
