This experimental film by Academy Award winning independent filmmaker/director Zbigniew Rybczynski is an exploration of capturing alternative manifestations of time on motion pictures. The original live-action was shot high-speed at 72 fps to give it a slow motion dream-like or nightmarish quality.
The work on the Oxberry required 480 separate exposures on every frame of the 35mm film negative to create the final effect. The images included here are excerpts from the almost 1/2 hour of screen-time produced. Music is by Michael Urbaniak.
