As part of their 25th anniversary celebrations in 2014, UK fashion label Boxfresh have teamed up with creative collaboration platform Talenthouse to launch the One Shot photography competition.
Throughout 2014, Boxfresh will be staging 25 celebratory events (from parties to fashion shows and art exhibitions) and are looking for a talented photographer to document each and every event as part of a one year paid placement working as the official Boxfresh photographer.
To enter, all you need to do is submit an image that communicates Boxfresh’s passion for youth culture, fashion, art and music. The expert judging panel will then shortlist 5-6 entrants, who will be invited to the Boxfresh headquarters in London. In addition the highest voted entry will receive a bursary of £500
To help inspire those thinking of taking part, Boxfresh have been in touch with a number of well-know and up-and-coming photographers to ask if they’d submit an image or two that they feel fits with the competition brief. The result is a series of diverse images from a list of photographers that includes Ewen Spencer (also a judge for the competition), Jason Evans, Shaniqwa Jarvis, Luke & Nik (co-founders of Wandering Bears) and Leo Cackett.
The deadline for entries to the Boxfresh One Shot competition is 17 February. For more details on the competition, visit the Talenthouse website
