Hailing from Rochester (upstate NY), Joywave have been buzzing in the US ever since the release of their debut EP ‘How Do You Feel’ earlier this year. With support from the likes of Interview, Stereogum, Fader and Complex, the band’s gritty electronic synths and indie hooks have given them an alt-pop edge, however it’s their intelligent production and overarching hip-hop spirit that make Joywave are a truly unique addition to the UK music scene.
