Fashion cut from a single piece of material

Created while studying at Design Academy Eindhoven, De Pont‘s range includes five silkscreen-printed or woven coats – four long and one short. Each is produced as cut-out patterns on large pieces of fabric, that can be delivered to the wearer as a roll.

“I got a bit frustrated, as many people do, with the way the system works… I wanted to bridge the factory with the consumer, and make the consumer more involved in the creative process of this garment as well as skipping the sewing industry – because it’s very time consuming.” – De Pont
